A lot is being said about the Taliban, but how credible is any of it? What do they want to achieve; what are their hopes and dreams? Well today, you live in a world where you can literally just ask them. Not only are they in talks with surrounding nations' leaders, but they are holding open meetings on twitter for thousands of people. They can be found spreading humorous memes across the internet, engaging in AMAs, and commenting on people’s posts. These are all real things that the Taliban is currently doing to interact with the rest of the world and yet the contrast between what they are saying and what the news says about them remains blatant.
